Apologies, I had camera problems so there are no images for the first few paddles of the month, but we did get out.
June 1 - Buctouche Dunes - South End - Saint Thomas-de-Kent
We had 10 show up for this paddle, and while the winds did "freshen" up for a short while, we were protected by the dunes. Nice evening paddle, if a tad chilly - roughly 14km.
June 8 - Robichaud Village Wharf
While not the cleanest location to put-in and take-out, it was a good paddle, and six of us did about 14km again.
June 12 - Richibucto Area - Cap-Lumiere
Seven of us did a paddle here - almost 16km. Remote pristine location - worthy of a repeat visit.
June 15 - Bourgeois / Caissie Cape Government Wharf
It was by no stretch of the imagination could you call it "calm". But it was fun. The waves were about 1-meter high, but there was little wind, so "surfs-up dudes".
June 22 - Buctouche Dunes - North End - Saint Edouard de Kent
Camera working again! Although the weather was not looking favorable, it turned into a beautiful evening. Five of us turned out for the first paddle of the summer – because of the extended daylight, we had a 2.5 hour paddle. No rush we paddled just under 14km.
