July 26 - Aboiteau Wharf
Well, five of us turned out for what can only be called an uneventful paddle (a polite way of saying boring).  The wind was near zero, the seas were at times glass calm, and endless miles of beach doesn’t do much to break the pattern.  We went just short of 11km, and adjourned to an excellent seafood dinner at the wharf.

July 30 - Kouchibouguac Grey Seal Adventure
We had seven turn up for this paddle, not including the thousands of birds, and about a hundred grey seals.  The wind started out moderate, but slacked off by the end of the paddle.  The waves on the seaward side of the barrier dunes were good for surfing, of which both us and the seals availed ourselves.  The seals seem to be smart enough to pop-up behind your boat, and make a big splash.  Great paddle, great weather.
