- Bateman's Brook
We had ten turn out for this 12.5km Fall Colours paddle, and the
weather was almost perfect, with a brilliant clear blue sky. The trees
were just starting to change though along the river, so there was still a lot of
green to be seen.
October 11 - Irishtown Nature Park, Moncton
We had six paddlers turn out for this Canadian Thanksgiving Day paddle of just
under 6.5km in length. Nice paddle, although a little windy on the exposed
side of the lake.
October 17 - Shediac River
It was a cool wind that blew on this one, with temperatures not exceeding 7ºC.
It was fine when the sun popped out, but pretty hard on the hands when the
clouds filled the sky and the winds picked-up near the end of the paddle.
Four of us did a 14km paddle.
