October 11 - Little Bouctouche
River
We have had a month of high winds. We had 10 paddlers out for this up to 11.8k Fall Colours Paddle.
The sun didn't break through, but it was a good paddle nevertheless.
October 12 - Scoudouc River
We only had 4 turn out for this paddle, not including the sun.
Due to the obvious presence of a beaver, our trip was somewhat shorter than
expected at just under 10k.
October 18 - Bateman's Brook
Not a bad day. We were a little early for the tide so the length of the
paddle was limited to navigatable water for a total of about 11km. Vibrant
fall colours are almost gone, limited to mostly yellows of birch and poplar.
