July 11 - Alma to Dennis Beach
We had only 2 turnout for last minute addition to the schedule - we were
waiting to make sure that TS Elsa was going to miss us. As it was, there
was a rather annoying south wind that made for a lot of work for this 11km
paddle.
July 18 - Cocagne Island
We had 9 turn out for this 12.7km paddle.
Lots of sand on the East and South sides of the island slowed us down.
July 24 - Buctouche Dunes - South End
There were only 2-boats out today, one of them being a tandem.
In spite of the gloomy forecast, it turned out to be a beautiful day
(discounting the mosquitoes and deer flies).
This end of the dunes is changing rapidly.
